When Shawna comes home to find her legal guardian who is her cousin beaten half to death. She is worried about who may get to her first child protective services or the person who attacked her cousin. In her search for answers, she keeps being led into dead-ends even family members seem to be turning their back on her. Shawna remembers her older cousin has been back in town handling business. On her last leap of faith, she gets in contact with DaMina "PRETTY" Rose to help get some clarity on things. After only a day of spending some time together she realizes, Mina is someone she can trust and rely on but for some, she may be their nightmare turned the biggest enemy.
